About Us
For over thirty years we've painted just about anything you can imagine:  
Commercial buildings, farms, churches, steel tanks, and hundreds of homes.  
We specialize in residential projects -- painting, wall covering removal, 
texturing, cabinet refacing, power washing, and even tile installation and 
carpentry -- but we have the skills and experience to complete most any

Our Business Philosophy
As a second generation craftsman, I value the customer and provide the best 
service possible for a reasonable price. My father, who was also a painter, 
learned the craft from experienced craftsmen that had been in business since 
the 1940s. He encouraged the company to hire me and in turn I learned not 
only from my father, but from true craftsmen who taught me to take pride in 
everything I do.

Our History
Originally I started business under the name Ferrell's Painting but in 2005 I 
changed the name to Cougar Valley Painting & Home Repair to better reflect 
our customers' needs for additional handyman and renovation services.

Why the name "Cougar Valley?"  We chose the name to ensure we don't lose 
sight of our beginnings. According to the Division of Wildlife, a cougar goes 
by many different names, including:  Catamount, mountain lion, panther, and 
puma.  The native Americans called cougars; painters.  We selected the name 
Cougar because it symbolizes the wide range of skills we offer -- and 
because we're painters, too.
